Carson City Off-Road day two: Capital 50, 35 Backcountry Rides converge to state capital
Hundreds of riders increased their mileage during the second day of Carson City Off-Road on Saturday in downtown Carson City.
The Capital 35 and Capital 50 Backcountry Rides explored Northern Nevada's beautiful landscape, passing through Lake Tahoe, Washoe Valley and Carson Valley along the way.
From Friday to Sunday, amateur and professionals cruise the local mountainsides and course through pieces of single track, double track, gravel and narrow roads and several historic streets in Carson City.
The Four Peaks Brewing Company's Beer Garden will open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. located on Carson St.
Live performances will take place throughout the thrilling rides. Hellbound Glory takes the Maine Stage from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Failure Machine will play at the McFadden Plaza from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
On Sunday, the Pro Men and Women Backcountry Races cruise through downtown Carson City at 8:30 and 8:40 a.m. The Shimano Kids' Fun Ride follows at 8:45 a.m.
