Pours Galore: Carson City's Shoe Tree Brewing Company celebrates grand opening
Shoe Tree Brewing Company, located next door to Carson Hot Springs Resort, celebrated its grand opening Saturday with a ribbon cutting, live music and an array of signature craft brews for tasting.
While the brewery had a soft opening in March, Saturday's event at 1496 Old Hot Springs Road in Carson City tapped into what brothers Jeff and Paul Young hope to be must-stop destination for those who enjoy fine craft beer. The Carson City Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Shoe Tree offers a blend of both traditional and experimental brews made made on a 7 barrel system available at the onsite tasting room.
The tasting room is open Monday through Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m., Fridays 2 to 10 p.m., Saturdays noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays noon to 8 p.m. See the website here and the here for the Facebook page.
