Partnership Carson City’s free Monday Wellness Yoga Classes return to in-person following virtual year
After one year of virtual classes, Partnership Carson City resumes its popular Wellness Yoga in person starting Monday, June 14.
Partnership’s mission is to foster a healthy community and by offering free yoga to the community, aims to help aid in pain management, relieve chronic stress and improve strength.
Classes are free and take place each Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Partnership Carson City, located at 1925 N Carson St.
“Everything our community loves about yoga is coming back,” said Hannah McDonald, Executive Director of Partnership Carson City. “The healing benefits of yoga and being mindful are immeasurable and that’s why we offer the weekly class to the community at no cost. If we can provide a calming atmosphere for an hour, the rewards are endless.”
Participants should wear comfortable clothes. Yoga mats, pillows, bolsters and straps are provided free of charge.
The yoga class is limited to the first 15 people.
Wellness Yoga is taught by independent contractor Adria White.
All virtual yoga sessions from the last year are available on Partnership Carson City’s website, PCCCarson.org here.
