Gun accidentally discharged at North Carson City Walmart
Emergency dispatch reported shots fired at Walmart on Market Street in North Carson City at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Initial reports from dispatch were that a firearm had been accidentally discharged after being dropped, and a bullet had hit another patron.
Carson City Sheriff's deputies on scene report that the victim appears to be only grazed by the bullet and is otherwise okay.
Deputies located and spoke with the subject who had the gun.
Law enforcement on scene reported the subject had been legally carrying the firearm when he adjusted his belt and the gun went off.
