ESL in-home program continues through summer
During the school year when schools are closed, parents of ESL school children living in Carson, Douglas and Washoe counties are also taking ESL classes for adults. When public schools are closed these adults will need English Conversation practice so they do not lose some of their skill.
The ESL In-Home Program holds classes at no cost for ESL and English Conversation in the areas where people live . These classes are open to anyone who wants to practice or improve their English.
For more information, class location, days/times - call 775-888-2021 in Carson City and Washoe County; or Carol in Douglas County at 775-636-0050; or Laurie in Douglas County at 775-267-9642.
We also invite people who have spare time (1-2 hours /week) to learn how to teach English as a Second Language at no charge. We will conduct personalized training at your availability of day/time and give you the opportunity to help save a person's life while helping to solve the language barrier. Become a volunteer.
