Miles Construction wins first place 2021 Excellence in Design award for Carson City Nissan

Miles Construction celebrating 35 years in business this month, won first place in the auto dealership construction category for Carson City Nissan from the 2021 American Buildings Excellence in Design Competition.
The Excellence in Design Competition is a highly anticipated annual award recognizing outstanding projects in design, architecture and highlighting the diverse applications of metal building systems.
“We couldn’t be prouder of this award and the team who made it happen,” said Cary Richardson, vice president and senior project manager at Miles Construction. “This facility was designed to serve the residents in Carson City and its surrounding area. Receiving this award is a testament to our expertise, quality and dedication to our community.”
Owned and operated by Chris Russell Dealerships, the Carson City Nissan dealership is now the fastest growing franchise dealership in Nevada. The 25,000 square-foot dealership includes state-of-the-art equipment throughout its showroom, management and sales offices and service workshop. Work included a retail parts display area, the new vehicle delivery center, a customer lounge, restrooms, break room, storage areas and a service reception area. This project was awarded Retail Development of the Year during the 2020 Summit Awards.
