Golf tournament fundraiser in June for Carson City man with aggressive cancer
A golf tournament fundraiser for Terry Wood, a Carson City man fighting a very aggressive form of cancer, will be held June 19 at Silver Oak Golf Course.
Our brother Terry Wood of Carson City has already gone through chemo and radiation, the removal of his scalp, the left side of his face, most of his ear, and the back part of his tongue. Reconstructive surgery is scheduled to begin in June, if he heals properly from the first surgery. Terry is one of the good guys who would help anybody and now he needs our help.
The tournament is hosted by Wood Painting and the Wood Family. The golf tournament is Saturday, June 19 at Silver Oak Golf Course in Carson City. The tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and is a four-person scramble. Click on flier for more information.
To sign up for the tournament, please contact Larry Wood at (775) 843-8414.
To donate, please contact Kathy Johnson at (775) 720-3442 or Pamela Wood at (775) 600-7055.
We are also looking for hole sponsors. Each hole costs $100. Your name, or business name, will be printed in a large display by the hole of your choice. Great advertising!
There will be food and a great party following the tournament.
