Carson City arrests: Man jailed for allegedly kicking, threatening deputy
A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for suspicion of felony intimidation and threats to a public officer and other offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Trenton Faith-Blake Lynn was taken into custody at 8:50 a.m. He was also arrested for alleged battery on a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.
According to the booking report, at the time of the arrest at a residence in the 500 block of North Stewart Street, the suspect allegedly kicked a deputy in the groin and attempted to mule kick other deputies. During transport to jail the suspect told a deputy he knew where he lived and threatened him, the arrest report states. Bail: $15,000.
In other arrests:
— A Minden man was arrested Wednesday, 6:43 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.
According to a booking report, deputies were alerted to a possible DUI driver leaving a South Carson Street gas station. Five minutes later, deputies learned the suspect was in the drive-through of a fast food restaurant on South Carson Street, and that he was slurring his words and drove over the drive through curb, the report states.
A deputy observed the suspect leaving the drive through, with his head slouched on the steering wheel for several seconds, then entering on William Street and driving over the fog line, the report states.
The deputy then made a traffic stop on the vehicle and approached the man, observing he had slurred speech, glossy red eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.
The deputy instructed the man to exit the vehicle, in which he did and then struggled with his balance. The deputy had the man attempt to perform field sobriety tests, but the man was not capable of performing the tests due to his inability to listen, follow instructions and hold his balance, the arrest report states. He was handcuffed and taken to Carson Tahoe Hospital for medical evaluation where he was medically cleared. He was taken to jail where an evidentiary blood sample was taken. Bail: $1,137.
— A 45-year-old Coleville, Calif., woman, Ginnie Lorraine Heidt, was arrested early Thursday for a felony warrant issued out of Reno alleging possession of a controlled substance. She was also arrested for suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription (Suboxone.) Bail: $7,500.
— A 49-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday for a misdemeanor warrant alleging theft of less than $1,200. The woman turned herself into Carson City Sheriff's Office on the warrant. Bail: $637.
— A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $3,000.
— A 25-year-old Gardnerville man, Michael Donald Llewellyn, was booked into jail Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging sales of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and conspiracy to violation the Controlled Substance Act. Bail: $5,000.
— Two were arrested Wednesday in the area of 20 College Parkway. Kelly Hawkins, 44, was arrested for suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail: $3,600. Also arrested was a 53-year-old man for alleged violation of bail conditions and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanor offenses. Bail: $4,000.
