The Carson City Host Lions Club will be hosting the Annual Kids’ Fishing Day at Baily Pond in Fuji Park on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Active 20-30 Carson City club is hosting a cash-only fundraiser today, Saturday May 7 at Mills Park with a cornhole tournament and barbecue.

Yard sale fundraiser to benefit Carson City SDA Church food pantry
The Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church is having a fundraiser yard sale Friday, May 6 only, from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are lots of personal items, yard tools and furniture available. Come buy yourself a gift, or maybe find a gift for Mom! The address is 405 College Parkway. Proceeds will help purchase new flooring in rooms used by the Carson City SDA Church Food Pantry.
