Carson City 2017 Historic Preservation Scavenger Hunt begins Monday
In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the Carson City Historic Resources Commission is holding their 8th Annual Historic Preservation Scavenger Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt will consist of 30 historic architectural windows, all within the Carson City Historic District. The contest will run from May 1-26, 2017.
Completed entries must be submitted online or in person at the Planning Division office located at 108 E Proctor Street by 4 p.m. on May 26th. Entries with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing to be held on June 1st. The winner will be competing for a free lunch for two at Adele’s.
To participate in the 2017 Scavenger Hunt, go to www.carson.org/hrc and click on the link that reads: Historic Resources Scavenger Hunt. There, you can complete and submit the interactive packet online or download and print a copy of the packet. Also, Scavenger Hunt booklets will be available for pickup at the Community Development office on 108 E Proctor Street on Friday, April 28, 2017.
