Help improve Carson City Parks, vote during Earth Month
You can help Carson City’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department during the month of April by voting in the "Meet Me at the Park" campaign, an initiative to improve interactive access to local parks.
In collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA began the campaign, "to improve local parks through projects that connect kids to nature, inspire kids and families to live healthier lifestyles, and increase access to sports for youth," the NRPA web site states.
April is Earth Month, and your support can benefit one of our area parks by voting in the "Meet Me at the Park" campaign to give our city a chance to win $20,000.
This award is made possible by partnership between the NRPA and The Walt Disney Company, which seeks to provide 16 communities with resources to enhance their parks.
Please cast your vote every day for the chance to help improve a Carson City park.
