'Have a Heart' celebration fundraiser at Glen Eagles generates $31,000 for FISH
Friends in Service Helping, also known as FISH, raised nearly $31,000 with 37 celebrity waiters and nearly 400 in attendance Saturday night at Glen Eagles in Carson City.
This fundraiser will allow FISH to continue renovations on their 50 year old buildings in Carson City and will help in replacing their aging homeless shelter van. Special thanks to Dick Campagni Capitol Ford/Hyundai, and Carson City Toyota/Scion for donating a $1,000 gas card for our drawing and the Glen Eagle’s staff for a flawless and delicious dinner event.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be presented later this week to the three waiters with the most tips. Finalists in alphabetic order are: Karen Abowd, Lori Bagwell, and Fr. Chuck Durante.
Other celebrity waiters included: Bob Crowell, Brad Bonkowski, Brian Dempsey, Daniel Gonzales, Dave Cook, Don Gibson, Doreen Mack, Ed Rose, Garret Lepire, Genevieve & Ray Frederick, Jason Woodbury, Jeff Sanders, Jim and Suzanne Peckham, Jim Shirk, John Tyson, Kathy Lumos, Ken Furlong, Kirk Caraway, Lacy J. Dalton, Marena Works, Mark Amodei, Mark Kruger, Mary Pierczynski, PK O’Neill, Ray Masayko, Rick Bessette, Ryan Russell, Sandy Koch, Steve Elliot, Stacey Giomi, Star Anderson, and Tim McFarren.
