Local musicians rally to benefit services for Carson City’s homeless
Local musicians will bring their voices and talents to A to Zen to raise funds to help support services for Carson City’s homeless.
Singers, songwriters, musicians and more will play throughout the day on Saturday, March 30, 1 to 9:30 p.m.
Donations raised will benefit RCIL and The Do Drop In, a local nonprofit that provides a place for homeless residents to spend their time and receive important job and living resources.
Dee Dee Foremaster, executive director of RCIL and The Do Drop In, has been helping Carson City residents in need for the last 20 years.
Providing meals, clothing, assistance finding additional resources and other essentials for the homeless, those with disabilities, as well as local veterans. She receives no city, state or federal funding, relying on community donations to keep services available.
A to Zen is located at 1803 N Carson St.
Earl Dutton, Krista Jenkins, Dr. John, Brother Dan, Martina Daytona, Peggy Lee, Shruti, Keith Alan Barnett, Don Edmonson, Mike White, Bill Kallman, Alan Vaughan, Anthony Edwards, CW Bayer, Chris Harris, Mike Epps, and more will be playing throughout the event.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
