American Impact Sprinkler Co.,
Jason Snyder, President

Carson City
This is a small start-up company which began about a year ago in Fresno, CA. Manufacturing a brass impact sprinkler for agriculture entirely in the United States was the objective of the owners of the company.
The impact sprinkler is still widely used in the western states, primarily on hand moved aluminum pipe and wheel lines.
Over the past two decades most of the of manufacturers of these sprinklers have moved their manufacturing, begun buying imported components or simply brokering a foreign sprinkler. American Impact Sprinkler Co. is dedicated to manufacturing a high quality, good valued sprinkler entirely from American made components and assembled in its new location in Carson City.

Anticipated full production by early summer and will be likely hiring 6 new employees this year, which will result in the foundry and machine shop in Carson City to expand their operations.

Franklin Armory
Jay Jacobson, President
Douglas County
Broker Lead – Tom Miller

Franklin Armory has been in operation for over 20 years.  The company specializes in producing legal firearms for restrictive jurisdictions such as California.  Franklin also builds full feature firearms for “free” states. Every firearm produced at their facility is made with 100% American made parts & materials.

Franklin’s craftsmanship is what sets them apart from the companies that mass produce their firearms.  Each rifle, carbine, “other,” and pistol that ships from our facility is hand built with a custom tuned, single stage, Franklin Armory trigger.  To ensure quality and consistency, every firearm is then tested by the company President prior to shipment.

The company estimates that they will hire between 10 and 20 employees within the first year of operation.

Cristek Interconnects
Cristi Cristek, President & CEO

Douglas County
Broker Lead – Cole Smith

Cristek Interconnects is an aerospace & defense industry manufacturer with a 28 year operating history. The organization is a preferred supplier of multiple Tier 1 defense contractors and possesses print position on long running programs – both domestic and foreign military sales.

The purpose of the Nevada project is to accommodate projected growth over the next 3-5 years and will include the transfer of some product lines well as the startup of others. As part of this project Cristek will transfer its corporate headquarters to Northern Nevada and increase its vertical manufacturing capability. At full production the company will hire over 90 employees.

Global Aqua Solutions
Ira Rackley, CTO & Partner,
Tom Rackley, CFO, Managing Member

Douglas County
Broker Lead – Chad Coons

Global Aqua Solutions is a manufacturer of a proprietary chemical that is blended with a series of other chemicals to form a final product to fit certain markets.  The base formulation is organic, biodegradable, and non-toxic.  The formulations are also biodegradable and non-toxic, with most being 100% organic.  All of the formulations are non-explosive and not flammable.

The Minden facility will mix the proprietary base product and then blend those following formulations that meet the above criteria. The company anticipates hiring 15 employees when at full capacity.

Eastbiz
John Vanhara, President

Douglas County
Broker Lead – Chad Coons

Eastbiz specializes in mail forwarding and small package shipping for consumers buying from US sellers that do not ship. With an international reach the company will use the newly acquired 88, 000 square foot facility in Minden as part of its major expansion plan for their west coast operation. In the first year of operation Eastbiz plans to hire 30 employees with an estimated increase after two years to about 50 to 60 employees.
