Night in the Country artist lineup grows with new acts added to Lyon County festival

Night in the Country Music Festival has added Craig Morgan and Old Southern Moonshine Revival to the 2016 lineup at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Yerington, July 21–23.

Night in the Country is celebrating its 15th year with the largest lineup in its history, featuring some of the biggest country artists in the world including headliners Tyler Farr, Chase Rice and Kip Moore.

A multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV host, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. One of country music’s best-loved artists, the Black River Entertainment artist thrills massive crowds with signature hits including “Bonfire,” “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” "This Ole Boy,” “Wake Up Lovin’ You” and the six week #1, “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” The new single “When I’m Gone” is available for digital download now and will lead a new album due later this year.

Morgan received one of country music’s highest honors when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008. In addition to a prolific country music career, he hosts the award-winning TV show “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors," currently in its sixth season on Outdoor Channel.

Fans can see Craig Morgan open up for Kip Moore on the main stage on Saturday, July 23.

Old Southern Moonshine Revival is touring in support of their latest EP "Can You Feel It Now," which made it up to No. 20 on iTunes Country Albums Chart. The band has been praised for mixing country harmonies, passion, and heart with edge of southern rock. Old Southern Moonshine Revival has a unique sound and a unique approach of making that sound heard. "Passion. Above all else. Passion." said bassist Jamie Shaver. "People know when you're faking it. They know when you don't believe in what you're doing.”

Fans can see the passion in action when Old Southern Moonshine Revival takes the Full Moon Saloon stage on Friday, July 22.
