Carson City Sheriff's Office make arrests for DUI, paraphernalia and warrants
A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of DUI, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
At 9:55 p.m. a deputy wad driving westbound on East William Street and observed a vehicle also traveling westbound without its lights on.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and passenger. The deputy could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle, the report states.
The officer observed the driver having watery eyes and asked him if both he and the passenger had been drinking. The driver replied yes. The deputy asked the driver to exit the vehicle to speak and observed an odor of alcohol coming from his person, the report states.
The man agreed to standardized field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment on the tests. He provided a preliminary breath sample of .152 and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. At jail he agreed to evidentiary blood draws. Bail: $1,137.

— A 33-year-old Sparks man was arrested Tuesday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued March 6, 2023 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 40-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday for a misdemeanor violation of conditions warrant issued Nov. 9, 2022 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
