Carson City arrests: Daughter admits stealing cash from mother
An 18-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday for suspicion of felony fraudulent use of a credit card and other offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Makenna Joy Abel was also booked for misdemeanor obtaining money under false pretenses and petit larceny associated to thefts on March 5 and March 16, according to the arrest report.
The 18-year-old admitted under Miranda that she used her mother's debit card to withdraw $300 in cash, and admitted to stealing $100 from her mother's purse. Bail: $6,489.
In other arrests:
— A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 11:40 a.m. for suspicion of obstructing and trespassing, both misdemeanor offenses. Bail: $654.
