Carson City jail inmate booked on sexual assault of a child under 16 warrant

A 19-year-old Carson City jail inmate was booked Monday on a felony warrant alleging sexual assault against a child under the age of 16, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
Isaiah Nicholas Poole of Carson City was advised of the charge at 1:30 p.m. The confirmed warrant issued by Carson City Justice Court carries a bail amount of $250,000.
In other arrests:
— A 30-year-old man was arrested Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
A 39-year-old Dayton woman was also arrested for misdemeanor ex-felon failure to register.
Dustin Matthew Johnson, listed as a transient, was booked on the charges after Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the area to assist a Department of Alternative Sentencing officer who was checking on the occupants of a suspicious vehicle.
Johnson said he was in the parking lot because he is homeless and that his girlfriend is in jail so he likes to be near her, a CCSO deputy said.
The Alternative Sentencing officer told the deputy that he saw a glass pipe in plain view on the driver seat next to Johnson’s right leg, the arrest report states. He presented the pipe to the CCSO deputy who recognized it to be allegedly used for smoking methamphetamine.
The CCSO deputy searched Johnson’s vehicle incident to arrest and recovered an orange pill bottle with a white powdery substance and a second glass pipe in the driver’s side door panel. Also, a plastic bag with a small amount of white powdery substance in the cup holder next to the driver’s seat and in the rear of the vehicle were four plastic bags containing a white powdery substance. Bail: $13,500.
The 39-year-old female was booked for misdemeanor ex-felon failure to register with a bail amount of $242.
— A 35-year-old Fallon man, Sky Blu Slafter, was arrested Monday, 8:47 p.m., in the 400 block of Fairview Drive during a traffic stop on a felony warrant issued by Churchill District Court for failure to appear and a felony parole and probation priority-five carrying a no bail hold.
