Agency seeks info on unsolved homicide cases
The Nevada Threat Analysis Center (NTAC) seeks information on unsolved Nevada rural county female homicides and missing person cases.
For over a year the NTAC's Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Program has collected information from law enforcement officials concerning unsolved rural female homicides and selected missing person cases. The cold cases include unsolved homicide and missing person cold cases that have occurred from 1972 to 2010. NTAC now has a master unsolved female homicide list that has been made available for cold case investigators in several states. Unsolved male cold case homicide research is currently underway.
In furtherance of these important investigations, NTAC requests the public's assistance in developing potential leads about the unsolved
female homicides and missing person cold cases. Ten (10) of the unsolved cases involve female victims who have not been identified. The
eighteen unsolved investigations subject to the articles originate from several rural Nevada Counties, and do not include cold cases from Washoe or Clark County.
The attached document includes details surrounding the 18 unsolved cases.
Anyone having possible leads regarding these cases is asked to contact: Jim Lopey at 775-687-0450 or email NTAC@DPS.STATE.NV.US.
Any potential leads will be forwarded to the agency having primary investigative jurisdiction.
