The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance with locating a missing person. Frank Figearo was last seen in mid-October 2020, leaving his motel room in Carson City, Nevada. Mr. Figearo allegedly told a neighbor he was traveling out of state for business.

Body of victim in apparent drowning recovered Monday at Lake Tahoe

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit 7 recovered a body from a depth of 1,062 feet in Lake Tahoe on Monday. The recovery was made while searching for a missing person, who reportedly drowned the week prior. The identity of the person has been withheld until the family has been notified.

UPDATE: At 9:45 p.m., Tuesday confirmation has been made that Romeo Obrien has been located safe and has been reunited with his mother.

An 11-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos boy is missing, authorities report Tuesday night. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Douglas County Search and Rescue are searching for 11-year-old Romeo Obrien.
