Mr. Carson High event still on for tonight at Carson City Community Center
The cancellation of classes and activities at Carson High School Friday does not include the long-anticipated and carefully planned annual Mr. Carson High pageant scheduled for March 2 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Carson City Community Center, Carson City School District Public Information Officer Dan Davis said.
Davis said the decision not to cancel tonight's annual contest was made, in part, because of scheduling conflicts with future events already reserved at the community center.
This year's Mr. Carson High pageant theme is “All Around the World,” featuring 24 senior boys competing for the 2018 school title.
General Admission is $10 per person and VIP Admission is $20 per person, which includes a catered dinner, sponsored the Olive Garden and preferred seating starting at 5:30 PM at the community center.
