Reno Phil coming to Carson City with Feb. 13 concert at community center
The Reno Phil is doing a special concert at the Carson City Community Center Feb. 13, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.
What better way to open a Valentine’s Day show than with Mozart’s Overture to Cosi fan tutte, a story rife with love, temptation, and jealousy (in that order)?
The night continues with the return of a soloist adored by our Reno audiences, pianist Conrad Tao, who will dazzle us with Prokofiev’s exciting Piano Concerto No. 3. Aptly, we conclude our night of romanticism with Dvorak’s Symphony No. 6, who references all things Viennese.
