Carson City Parks, Rec and Open Space to host Carson River Trails Project open house
The Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department will host an open house for the Carson River Trails Phase II Project.
The project is funded by a grant from the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act (SNPLMA), which will construct a non-motorized multi-use pathway on the east side of Prison Hill, through Silver Saddle Ranch, and along the Carson River through Buzzy’s Ranch connecting to Riverview Park.
Department staff and a representative from the design team will be on hand to show project maps and answer questions.
The open house will be held in the Bonanza Room at the Community Center, 851 E. William St., on Monday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Following the open house, the Open Space Advisory Committee will review and comment on the plans in the Sierra Room at the Community Center. For additional information please contact Gregg Berggren, Trails Coordinator at gberggren@carson.org or 775.887-2262, ext. 7219.
