Carson City musician Kingwhistler opens for The Black Lillies at Piper's Opera House
Come see local Carson City musician Kingwhistler open for Americana band The Black Lillies in Virginia City at the historic Piper’s Opera House!
With frontman and songwriter, Nick Aliberti, Kingwhistler's music is a mix of Classic Rock, Americana, and Folk. Often compared to The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Kingwhistler seeks to bring the sound of the golden age of rock and roll to a new generation. Nick was recently seen kicking off the Levitt Amp Summer Series at the Brewery Arts Center opening for Antsy McClain as well as at venues and festivals all over Northern Nevada.
The Black Lillies are known for their captivating blend of rock & roll and country, and have become one of Americana music’s biggest success stories: an internationally-renowned band of roots-rockers, armed with songs that blur the boundaries between genres. Their new album Stranger to Me, was an immediate critical and fan success, debuting at #5 on the Billboard Folk/Americana chart, #9 on the Billboard Current Country chart, and #61 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. To purchase tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-black-lillies-tickets-63928410597?aff=e...
