Carson City community theater volunteer Pat Josten battles cancer, Go Fund Me page established

In July 2020 my mom, Pat Josten, was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that attacks the bile ducts in the liver.

For the past year the Josten family has been doing our best to keep her happy and healthy, and our financial situation at least somewhat stable. However, it’s come to the point that we could use some help to cover some bills.

Who knew having cancer in America could be so expensive?

We’re hoping to collect $5,000 as soon as possible to cover some upcoming bills we are struggling to find the cash for.

We appreciate any help you can provide for my mom. She has spent decades volunteering with a children’s theatre group trying to bring the arts to our youth, and it would be fantastic to have some of that love and support come back to her in her time of need.
