Back to School Bash
The Carson City Classic Cinema Club and friends want to celebrate the coming school year and help the kids get ready with a free Bash full of live entertainment, games and activities.
Bring the kids to McFadden Plaza on Saturday, August 18 from 10a-2p for all the festivities, and have them bring their backpacks, to fill up with all the supplies that they'll earn as they work their way through the activities and learn about local arts opportunities for after-school fun.
Live entertainment from Randy Ide, Phoenix Phenomenal, Wild Horse Children's Theater, and the Carson City Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Not Quite Ready for Carnegie Hall Players.
This free event is sponsored in part by a generous grant from the Carson City Cultural Commission.
The Carson City Classic Cinema Club is a nonprofit organization that uses classic film as a platform to raise money and awareness in support of youth arts education. Follow them on Facebook for all the latest details on upcoming events.
