Empty bowls project Tuesday in Carson City serves as FISH food program fundraiser
Ogres-Holm Pottery in the Carson Mall opens its studio every other Tuesday night to anyone who wants to help create ceramic bowls for Carson City's Empty Bowls project.
According to Ogres-Holm Pottery "sometimes we will be making bowls, other times we will be decorating bowls. We will teach you how to create an Empty Bowl for this worthwhile project."
The next project event is Tuesday, July 19, 6 p.m. at Carson Mall Shopping Center, 1215 S Carson St, Carson City.
Donations are accepted. All proceeds from Empty Bowls go to Friends In Service Helping, also known as FISH, in support of its food programs.
The event is free and no experience is necessary. Space is limited and reservations are required.
