Saturdays are meant for easy rides with Muscle Powered, Carson City Parks and Rec
Saturdays, 9:40 am through summer is the kind of organized bike ride for the family. Meet by the Muscle Powered bike rack in front of the Carson City Aquatic Center at 841 N. Roop St.
Bicycle rides will be moderately paced and distance will be at the discretion of the riders. The goal is to develop skills and endurance over time. Riders must wear helmets and closed toed shoes.
Families are welcome and encouraged; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water and wear sunscreen. For more information, please Call Donna at 775-515-6765.
This Saturday, Muscle Powered starts early with Trash Mob from 8 to 9 a.m. Trash Mobs will involve gathering litter at a designated location for one hour in order to make the area safer and healthier for walking and biking.
The Trash Mob will meet 8a.m. at the multi-use path at College Parkway and I-580. Park at U.S. Bank. Gloves, trash bags, and water will be a available.
