Carson City's Catmandu presents their Cat of the Week: Mr. Biscuits
As his name implies, this big lovable orange guy is a biscuit maker extraordinaire. Start petting and loving him and he will purr and begin to knead. He just loves to be pet and cuddled. He is a mellow fellow that wants nothing more than to be safe, fed and loved. In return, he will be your best friend forever.
Insofar as his past, he is pretty much a man of mystery. We believe he was a stray for a long time until some kind people gave him food, got him neutered and vaccinated, brought him inside, and tried to integrate him into their household. Unfortunately, their resident cats refused to accept him and after a year they decided the best thing for him would be to send him to Catmandu where he could find a home and people of his own without being attacked by the other cats.
While he is a little timid with new people and animals it doesn't take him long at all to warm up and start biscuit making. In a home of his own, he would blossom and become a fabulous friend and companion. Will you be that friend?
Mr. Biscuits is a 3-year old, healthy large orange/red tabby. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, house trained, gets along with mellow dogs and ready to meet his new best friend. To meet this handsome sweet boy, visit Catmandu Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Catmandu is a cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. Since opening in 2014, Catmandu has helped more than 2300 cats and kittens find a better life. Most of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds. They are strays, feral born, or abandoned. Catmandu needs the support of our community to stay open.
