Capital City CIRCLES Initiative to host substance abuse prevention night
The Capital City C.I.R.C.L.E.S. Initiative, a cooperative community effort to elevate people out of poverty, invites members of the community to participate in a colloquy on the topic of preventing substance abuse. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 26 at 6:45 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church’s Family Life Center located at 115 N Division St.
The speaker panel will include Richard Stokes, Carson City School District Superintendent; Michael McNulty, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (Independent); JoAnne Berliner, Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CORR, Community Recovery Resources); and Alivia Flewellen, Client Service Manager (FISH, Friends in Service Helping).
