Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive This Saturday
Don't forget to leave your donation of non-perishable food items at your mailbox this Saturday. Your mail carrier will pick it up and deliver it to local food pantries. Help us Stamp Out Hunger.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the largest one day food drive in the nation. Letter carriers have collected over one billion pounds of food since the first food drive in 1998.
Food banks work hard all year to make sure citizens in our community do not go hungry. Donations collected during the winter holidays help ensure that no one goes away empty handed, but by spring time the shelves have more bare space than food.
The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive helps restock those shelves so that our local partners, FISH and The Ron Wood Center, can continue to serve those in need in our community.
