The Genoa Lakes Ladies’ Golf Club (GLLGC) will kick off the 2022 golfing season on Tuesday, April 5. Women golfers age 18 and over are eligible to join this friendly group of women golfers.
Weekly tournaments are offered for members on Tuesday mornings at one of the Genoa Lakes Golf Club courses, April through the first part of October. A $7 buy-in is required to participate in weekly tournaments and closest to the pin contests. Membership dues are $160 per year, and cover GHIN handicap, 3 complimentary luncheons, hole-in-one fund, and year-end awards.

A familiar truck in Carson City was stolen Sunday morning. A Hawkins Heating and Air Conditioning truck was stolen at around 8:30 a.m. from a parking area on Highway 50. Owner Steve Hawkins believes the thief most likely wanted the tools. The truck is similar to the one in the picture. It’s a 2018 Dodge truck. The license number is Nevada 042F74.

Carson High students have advanced to final rounds in dramatic, humorous, and duo interpretation, where students cut a 10-minute script and perform their piece.
