Lyon County Republican Convention
The Nevada Republican Central Committee (NRCC) Standing Rules requires the Nevada Republican Party, in every year during which a general election is held, to have a precinct meeting held for each precinct. All persons registered in the party and residing in the precinct are entitled to attend the precinct meeting.
Precinct meetings for 2022 will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the locations specified below. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the meetings will begin at 10:00 a.m. Delegates to the party’s county convention will be elected at the meetings by those in attendance. Set forth below are the time and place at which each precinct meeting will be held. Each voting precinct is entitled to the number of delegates in proportion to the number of registered voters of the Republican Party residing in the precinct as set forth in the NRCC Standing Rules. If you wish to participate in the organization of the Republican Party in Nevada for the next two years, you must attend your precinct meeting.
Notice is also hereby given that the Convention of the Lyon County Republican Party will be held in “The Commons” at the Silver Stage High School, 3755 Spruce Avenue, Silver Springs on Saturday, March 12, 2022; that at the convention, delegates to the Republican State Convention will be elected, a county central committee to serve for the ensuing two years will be chosen, and other party affairs considered. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the convention will convene at 10:00 a.m.
