The Carson City Senior Center is hosting a 4-week free Creative Writing Workshop. With writing prompts and creative inspiration, you’ll learn to turn meaningful thoughts into written stories. Each workshop will build on the last with opportunities to share your stories.

Maggie M’s Beginning Art Classes will provide instruction in drawing, sketching, and painting with watercolors and acrylics 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm every Wednesday.

A new six-week class beginning this month from the Alzheimer’s Association in Carson City is available and free to caregivers.

Artist Reception will be held August 23 in Carson City at the Brewery Art Center Satellite Gallery for Maria Mermin. The event is from 4 to 6 p.m.

Enjoy a fun and easy acrylic painting class as you follow along with instructor Debbie Corona in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.

The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.
