Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on Tiger Drive, some homes evacuated

UPDATE 11:55PM: One person suffered minor injuries that did not require medical transport to the hospital in the Tiger Drive structure fire Sunday night, said Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Jon Pedrini.
The fire started in an 8 foot by 8 foot outdoor detached laundry facility at 71 Tiger Drive. The fire spread was stopped as it closed in on the main living structure, Pedrini said. The mobile home had mainly exterior damage as well as smoke and water damage. An adjacent unit had some fire damage to siding.

A dangerous fugitive convicted of attempted murder in 2004 is back in custody with the Nevada Department of Corrections, according to the U.S. Marshals Service in Reno.
