Carson City announces issuance, mailing of 2023-2024 real property tax bills

The Carson City Treasurer’s Office is announcing that the property tax bills for Carson City, Nevada are now ready for the new tax year of 2023-2024, which runs from Saturday, July 1, 2023 through Sunday, June 30, 2024.

July 21, 2023 - 12:00pm Joseph Allen Vineis, age 32 from Carson City, Nevada passed away June 25, 2023. He is survived by his father, Christopher, his mother Charolette, his brother Matthew, and his sister, Elizabeth. Joseph was a sweet, gentle, brilliant man.

I read that you are holding a special meeting on Wednesday July 19th to discuss the firing of the district’s current legal counsel and hiring of Joey Gilberts firm. Unfortunately, I will be out of town during this meeting, and cannot give my statement during public comment. Senators’ trainer Adam Hunsaker marks 10 years of helping Carson City area athletes

This month marks a 10-year anniversary for Adam Hunsaker serving as the head athletic trainer at Carson High School. From providing medical coverage when Carson High has hosted the NIAA state track Championships, to watching the Senators’ football team win three straight league championships, Hunsaker has been a fixture at the school, attending countless games, practices and training sessions to watch over the athletes’ safety and well-being.
