Mile High Jazz Band presents 18th annual Jazz Extravaganza at the Carson City Community Center
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 02/11/2022 - 8:03amIt's "big-band jazz times four" when the Mile High Jazz Band and three youth jazz bands present the 18th annual Jazz Extravaganza concert, on Tuesday, February 22, at 7:00 p.m., in the Bob Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street, Carson City.
The Extravaganza is sponsored by the Mile High Jazz Band Association as a benefit for youth jazz programs.
Supervisor Giomi to speak at Monday's Democratic luncheon

He assumed office on January 7, 2019 and has announced his intention to run for reelection later this year.
Giomi serves as the Board of Supervisor's representative on the Carson City Cultural and Tourism Authority, the Carson Water Sub-Conservancy District, and the Western Nevada Legislative Coalition. He is also Carson City’s representative to the Nevada Association of Counties.

COVID-19 transmission remains high, but trending downward in Quad-Counties; hospitalizations remain high

However, while case transmission and test positivity remains high, there is also a downward trend from the peak highs occurring at the end of January and the beginning of February.
