Historical Coin Press No. 1 at the Nevada State Museum, Carson City, will resume demonstrations this Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, with the minting of a commemorative medallion honoring Western explorer John C. Frémont.

An 18-year-old California man was booked into Carson City Jail for felony warrant charges stemming from a Sept. 7 shooting and subsequent pursuit that led to the arrests of three others.

Happy New Year! From the 50th Reunion Carson High Class of 1971.
We all have class reunions, and my 50th was this year. When you are younger, it is more of a competition rally of who is who and what you have accomplished. For some this can leave a bad taste, and many may not return to their next one.
