Carson City deputies arrest two on drug crimes following a non-lit license plate traffic stop
Submitted by admin on Sat, 01/08/2022 - 4:17pmA 31-year-old Gardnerville man and a 42-year-old Carson City woman were arrested drug crimes following a traffic stop on S. Carson Street.
According to the report, Dustin Wayne Robertson and Teresa Orlando were arrested just after 3 a.m. after a patrol deputy noticed a vehicle driving southbound that had no light illuminating the license plate.

COVID-19 Weekly Update: Over half of Carson City, Douglas County and Lyon County are now vaccinated; Storey numbers remain low

Douglas County leads in test positivity rate, with 18.8 percent of all tests returning positive. Carson City leads in initiated vaccinations at 70 percent of the population aged 5 and over, followed closely by Douglas County at 61 percent.

When I commented to the pony-tailed individual that there was a mask mandate he was less than enthusiastic.
I advised that he might want to lead by example...yeah, like that's gonna happen.
