Andie Wilson, CCIM, an Owner/Broker-salesperson with NAI Alliance Carson City, has announced that Cheryl Evans, CPM is retiring and has sold her property management business to Kevin Sigstad, CCIM with RE/MAX Premier Properties.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. The Nevada State Railroad Museum is holding train rides dedicated toward women’s suffrage on Saturday. Feeding Pets of the Homeless is hosting its 11th annual nationwide pet food and supply drive over the next three days, and there is plenty of live music for all to enjoy! COVID-19 Thursday update for Carson City, Quad area: 18 new cases, 8 recoveries

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Thursday, August 13, 2020 that there are 18 new cases and 8 recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 854, with 677 recoveries, and fifteen deaths, 162 cases remain active.

Tom Gordon of Carson City, Nev. was digging a trench for a water line in his backyard when he began to find bones that turned out to be the remains of Ice Age herbivores.

The public comment period will remain open through September 19, 2020.

Around 2,000 Carson City students will be distance learning this year due to COVID-19

In July, the Carson City School District decided that a hybrid plan for Carson City students was the safest route to keep down the number of COVID-19 cases, allowing children to attend only two days a week and distance learn three days a week.
