Democratic Presidential candidate Tom Steyer will visit Carson City this Wednesday, Feb. 12 and open a William Street office. Doors open at 6 p.m. The office is located at 1426 E William St., Suite 3, Carson City.

With sunny skies and daytime highs in the 50s, Tuesday is shaping up to be a great day around the capital city. Muscle Powered will host morning and evening walks, plus there's an assortment of meetings, club gatherings, art showings, a local school board meeting and more. At the end of the day, there's no better way to cap off the evening than by celebrating, with your sweetheart, music about love. March 14, 2020 - 11:30am Hands-on learning to make a King Cake! And we will get to taste it as well! A lot of the time involves yeast rising, so we will also be painting on canvas. It's included!

I've long wondered how the marathon run came to be 26 miles in the first place. So I did a little research and found the history to be fascinating. It all started, like so many other events in history, after tossing back a few beers, away back in 490 B.C.
WNC nursing program ranked 'Best in West' by online career, education website

Recognition has come frequently to Western Nevada College’s Nursing Program from a variety of sources during the past year. The biggest one arrived last Wednesday when Nursing Process selected WNC’s program as No. 1 in the West Region, which encompasses 426 nursing schools, thereby making it one of the nation’s top programs.
