CHS girls win final home game against Douglas
To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, this wasn't just an important game, it was the most important game.
"The most important," said CHS senior Gina Bianchi on what it meant to beat arch rival Douglas 44-33 on Friday at Morse Burley Gym.
For Carson's two seniors, Bianchi, and Yvonne Hollett, they were able to go out winners on senior night in their final home game against their rivals.
Carson (17-10), which had already locked up third in the Sierra League, was able to break a two-game losing streak and built some momentum for the Northern 4A playoffs as they finished 9-5 in league.
