Carson City deputies arrest three in felony drug bust

According to the report, Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested Gregory Dee Shoemaker, Nicole Iona Contreras and Devin Edward Keller after receiving multiple drug complaints about a residence.

Carson City man receives felony third DUI after driving from South Lake following 'too many drinks to admit to'

According to the callers, the vehicle was “all over the road” and had struck construction material while coming down from Spooner Summit.
Flat Earth Pizza fundraiser big success

There is no chemo or radiation involved because doctors said those treatments would do more harm than good. For this reason, my insurance pays nothing toward her treatment. We also have a $7,000 deductible.
The fundraiser turned out to be a great success and we wanted to thank the many businesses who donated gift cards or items to the Silent Auction.

Go Fund Me account established for Carson City man awaiting kidney transplant

Gabe Torres of Carson City has irreparable damage to his kidney from Type 1 diabetes. Gabe and his wife, Megan, plan to relocate to Utah for the surgery and are in need of financial help to cover living expenses involved with their stay.

Forest Service continues effort to eliminate invasive plant populations from Lake Tahoe Basin

Work will take place at approximately 90 infestations sites (105 acres) beginning in late May and continuing through September 2019.
Addiction in Carson City: a mother’s story of heartbreak, and a daughter’s struggle for recovery

Her mother, Kristi, has been fighting to keep her daughter alive since then, facing numerous near-death scares.
