A traffic accident this morning on Highway 395 at Airport Road north of Minden in Douglas County resulted in serious injuries to a motorist who was flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno, the Nevada Highway Patrol reports.

Carson City fire and rescue have responded this morning to a traffic accident with injuries. Nevada Highway Patrol has also responded. The accident, reported at 9:47 a.m., is near Lakeview and the old Highway 395 alternate route, according to dispatch. Traffic may be tied up in the area.

Carson City paramedics have responded to a traffic accident in the 2100 block of Airport Road this afternoon. The accident happened at around 4 p.m. CareFlight was called and will pick up an injured person at the Carson City Airport, according to scanner traffic. No other details were available.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reports the following regarding a patrol car that was hit in a Carson City traffic accident on Thursday night. A Carson City deputy was also injured in a second accident.
