Ryan Livermore, PGA presents the Livermore Kids Golf Academy at Silver Oak Golf Course in Carson City. Ryan has more than 8 years of experience teaching kids the fundamentals of the sport of golf. The Livermore Kids Golf Academy is a fun and engaging way for children ages 6-14 to learn the game of golf. Plan your special day right at the first annual Northern Nevada Wedding Faire, held Sunday, Oct. 2 at Silver Oak Golf Club in Carson City.

Carson High School Culinary Arts has been named to the 2014-15 Elite 50 by the National Center for Hospitality Studies by the Sullivan University. The award recognizes an exclusive group of high schools that excel in the areas of culinary arts, baking and pastry arts.

Silver Oak Golf Club and Executive Conference Center in Carson City will host a basque dinner as part of its Fabulous First Fridays campaign.
Festivities, including Picon Punch specials, run from 5 to 10 p.m. Buffet is served from 5 to 7 p.m. DJ and dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. The cost is $25 per person. Reservations encouraged.

The Millennium Bugs, a five-piece combo affiliated with the Mile High Jazz Band, will perform on Friday, Sept. 7, 7:00 to 10 p.m., at Silver Oak Golf Club and Event Center, 1251 Country Club Drive, Carson City. Admission is free.
The musicians are Gil Linsley, trumpet; Dan Lancaster, sax, flute, clarinet; David Bugli, keyboard; Charles DiLaura, bass; and Neil Strocchio, drums. The group plays a variety of jazz styles for listening and dancing.  

Celebrate the past Chamber Chairs who have been a part of Carson City’s community and history at the Carson City Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Monday, July 23 at the Silver Oak Golf Club.
The event begins at 5:30 P.M. with a no host cocktail reception, followed by a barbeque. At 7 P.M., the program begins installation of the 2012 – 2013 Board.
The cost of entrance is $45 per person, and it includes a commemorative book.
