Canoe Trip at Lahontan State Recreation Area on Saturday, May 23
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Mon, 05/18/2015 - 3:29pmEnjoy a day full of fun, relaxation and nature with a canoe trip that starts just below the Lahontan Dam and runs along the Carson River to the Irrigation Diversion Dam. This event is a great opportunity for beginners to learn the basics of canoeing.
Canoes, paddles and life jackets will be provided, however participants will need to bring sunscreen and drinking water; a sack lunch is optional. Space is limited, so please call 775-867-3500 for reservations.

Some used the opportunity for a three-day weekend to go get a little R&R in: go to the beach, take a break, spend time with friends and family, and unwind. It’s what happens on Tuesday, after we come back to the reality of our lives, businesses, ups and downs, that can be confusing — the post-vacation blues.

Hair services performed at Hair Studio and body piercing services by Spear Me will be moved to the new location, to be called Paradise Salon-Spa-Wellness. It will be the only salon/spa in the area to provide private and semi-private salon suites.
