Carson City seeks input with Prison Hill Recreation Area master plan survey

As part of an effort to plan appropriate land uses and trail system connectivity on these 2,500 acres, the City would like the community’s input in developing a Master Plan for this area.

Rapid snowmelt prompts flood warning for portions of the Walker River

Flows along this portion of the river are expected to slowly rise this week and into the weekend in response to rapid snowmelt in the headwaters.
