What a week it was Carson City, and it isn't even over yet. Heading into Friday, May 3, 2019, we're looking at continued sunny skies and temperatures in the low 70s. There's a host of activities Friday and, looking ahead, a bevy of fun Saturday including a Mother's Day craft fair at the Carson City Community Center, a Star Wars themed bicycle safety day, a wine, cheese and dessert ride aboard the V&T, an early opening of the downtown farmer's market, the May Downtown Carson City Wine Walk, a memorial walk, presentations, comedy, live music and more. Brass quintet to play at BAC's Expresso Yourself Cafe as part of Carson City wine walk

It's Your City: Carson City's outdoor concert series returns Saturday with The Original Wailers

Piano Summit at Brewery Arts Center

Carson City Libary Celebrates National Library Week with impressive lineup

An action-packed week filled with music, arts, books, Nevada political history and more will be featured as Carson City Library celebrates National Library week.

Special events kick off Monday, 6 p.m., at the library auditorium with “The Lure of Music, a Human Universal” presented by internationally-recognized music scholar Fredric Lieberman, Ph.D., a distinguished professor of music at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Activities continue at Tahoe Tallac Site with Valhalla Arts, Music and Theatre Festival
