June Is National Homeownership Month, Here’s An Interesting Take On It
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Wed, 06/13/2018 - 1:00pmAre you aware that June is National Homeownership month?
Probably not. Because you’re too busy working to afford the home you live in, whether you rent it or own it.
Why should you care?
If you poke around and read anything you can find about it, you’re being urged to recognize and celebrate the benefits of homeownership.
That seems kind of a weird thing to ask you to do. Do you really have the time or care? What’re you supposed to do, throw a party? Sit alone and contemplate it? Invite some friends out for coffee and chat about it?

Even more than Gone with the Wind, it was the most revolutionary film. It was radically different from everything before it, and it influenced all film after it more than any other work. Yet, nothing made since 1968 is really like it, either.

Submitted by admin on Wed, 12/28/2016 - 10:11amAs I write this article, the Electoral College is deciding the route of the American Presidency and of Donald Trump as President-Elect. The Russian ambassador has been shot and killed in Turkey by a fanatic. Another European terrorist attack has taken place in Berlin, Germany, killing at least 12 people and wounding dozens of others during the Christmas shopping season. Back in Aleppo, Syria, the Assad government is finishing off the horrific killings of its own people as well as rescue helpers and hundreds of Christians — many of whom are women and children.
