Grab the kids and head to the First Presbyterian Church for a free concert. Get in a bike ride before the wet weather returns: Muscle Powered leaves from Fremont Elementary School at 9 a.m. and also sponsors weekly hikes throughout town. If you’re interested in joining them, their potluck membership meeting this afternoon at the Brewery Arts Center is the perfect time to fill out a membership card.

Reno Phil presents free family concert at the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts

New Stage in Silver City Adds to Comstock’s Live Music and Theater Venues

Nevada Arts Council grants nearly $50,000 in new artist fellowships

From Las Vegas, Reno and Minden, their work includes music, poetry, choreography fiction and non-fiction. In addition, artist Stephan Caplan received a $6,955 grant in the Fellowship Project category for new work.

The event will present a collaboration of Indo-American artist, Indian Classical, Jazz, Fusion, Saxophone, Flute and Harp.
TACH performs "Music of India" in Washoe County District Schools & Libraries from last couple of years through Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. This organization works for community service in the field of music and in continuation TACH is presenting it's event on July 17th, 2016.

This August, two 2016 CHS graduates, and a student who finished her sophomore year, will begin another year of high school in a new country, learning a new language, and living with a different family.
Seniors MacKenzie Gilliam and Delaney Fine, and sophomore Alexa Conrad, were chosen for the Rotary exchange program. Gilliam will be going to Italy, Fine to Belgium and Conrad to Leon, France.
Carson City Republican Party Terminates Membership of Assemblyman PK O'Neill

There has been much press and he has a very good writer who accentuates his few highly selective non-controversial votes while in the legislature and ignores the bulk of his decisions. Obviously our action is not due to his non-challenging votes but rather his many dubious ones. He does not acknowledge his campaign promises. He does not discuss attending a CCRP meeting at which he asked for our direction on this tax issue.

The show features Lisa Lynne & Aryeh Frankfurter playing two Celtic harps, the rare Swedish Nyckelharpa, and assorted instruments from the mandolin, cittern and bouzouki family. The audience will hear Traditional instrumental music from Sweden and Ireland as well as heartwarming original compositions blended with stories of humor and adventure.
Director returns to Brewery Arts Center in Carson City where dance career began

She was a regular in a floor show in a Mexican restaurant in the former Silver City Mall — where Lowe’s now stands. Earning her Screen Actors Guild card, she also starred in a McDonald’s commercial that ran annually.
